Welcome to WeightSnap! These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the WeightSnap mobile application ("App") and related services. By using WeightSnap, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using WeightSnap, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

WeightSnap is a weight tracking application that allows you to:

• Log weight entries with optional progress photos
• Track body measurements and trends over time
• Create before/after photo comparisons
• Receive AI-powered insights and coaching feedback
• Sync with Apple Health (optional)

3. Subscriptions and Payments

WeightSnap offers both free and premium subscription options:

• Free: Basic weight tracking, progress photos, quick share comparisons, and one AI analysis
• Premium: Unlimited AI coaching from 6 personalities, advanced comparison tools with full customization, and all features

Premium subscriptions are billed through your Apple App Store account. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings.

Prices may vary by region and are subject to change. Any price changes will apply to subsequent billing periods.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you create in WeightSnap, including photos, notes, and weight data. By using the App, you grant us permission to process this data solely to provide the service to you.

Your photos stay on your device. Progress photos are stored locally and are never uploaded to our servers unless you explicitly choose to share them.

5. AI-Powered Features

WeightSnap uses artificial intelligence to provide personalized insights and coaching. Please understand that:

• AI insights are for informational and motivational purposes only
• AI coaching is not a substitute for professional medical advice
• Weight and health data is processed to generate insights but is not stored on AI servers
• You should consult healthcare professionals for medical decisions

6. Health Disclaimer

WeightSnap is not a medical device. The App is designed for general wellness and fitness tracking. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or health condition. Always consult with qualified healthcare providers before making changes to your diet, exercise, or health regimen.

If you are struggling with disordered eating, body image issues, or any mental health concerns, please seek support from qualified professionals.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer or modify the App
• Share your account credentials with others
• Use the App in ways that could harm yourself or others
• Circumvent any subscription or payment mechanisms
• Use the App to generate harmful, abusive, or inappropriate content

8. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

9. Intellectual Property

WeightSnap and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by WeightSnap and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute the App or its content without our permission.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

WeightSnap is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that:

• The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Defects will be corrected
• The App will meet your specific requirements
• AI-generated insights will be accurate or suitable for your situation

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, WeightSnap and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or personal injury arising from:

• Your use or inability to use the App
• Any content or information obtained through the App
• Unauthorized access to your data
• Any health decisions made based on App content

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless WeightSnap and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of WeightSnap after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to WeightSnap at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the service.

You may stop using the App at any time. Uninstalling the App will remove all local data.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and WeightSnap regarding your use of the App.
